Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and CutUGC for the website at https://cutugc.app and the CutUGC iPhone app. Using either one means you accept them.
What the service does
You upload video you filmed. CutUGC transcribes it, plans an edit, and renders a finished vertical video with captions. It also writes scripts and builds hook variations from footage you supply. The output is made from your footage: nothing is generated or invented as video.
Your account
You need an account, you must be at least 13, and you are responsible for what happens under it. One person per account. Tell us if you think someone else has got into it.
Your content stays yours
You keep every right you had in the footage you upload and in the videos CutUGC produces from it. You give us permission to store, process and transform your files for the single purpose of running the service for you. That permission ends when you delete the files or the account.
You promise you have the right to upload what you upload — that you filmed it, or that whoever did has agreed, and that everyone appearing in it has agreed.
What you may not do
- Upload anything illegal, or anything you do not have the rights to.
- Upload sexual content involving minors, or content that exists to harass or harm a real person.
- Make videos that impersonate a real person in a way meant to deceive.
- Resell the service, or run it as a bulk pipeline for other people's accounts.
- Attack, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or work around its limits.
We can suspend or close an account that does these things, and we do not owe a refund for the part of it that broke these rules.
Plans and payment
Plans are monthly and renew until cancelled. Each plan includes a set number of cuts per month, shown on the pricing section and in the app. Unused cuts do not roll over.
Bought on the website: payment is handled by Whop. Cancel any time from your billing page; access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
Bought in the iPhone app: payment is charged to your Apple ID. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, and any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy. It renews until you cancel it in your Apple subscription settings, which is the only place it can be cancelled. Apple's refund policy applies, not ours.
Prices can change. If a price changes, it applies from your next renewal and we tell you before it does.
Refunds
Website subscriptions: email support@cutugc.app within 7 days of a charge and, if you have not used the cuts it paid for, we will refund it. App Store subscriptions are refunded by Apple, through Apple.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time, from the app or the web. That deletes your videos with it and cannot be undone. We can close an account that breaks these terms, or stop the service entirely with reasonable notice.
The service is provided as it is
We work hard to keep renders correct and the service up, but we do not promise it is uninterrupted, error-free, or that a given edit will be the one you wanted. Keep your own copy of your original footage. To the extent the law allows, CutUGC is not liable for lost profits, lost content or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We will post changes here and, if they matter, say so in the product before they take effect.
