What a UGC edit actually needs

UGC works because it looks like a real person talking to the camera. The edit is what makes it watchable: a hook in the first second or two, no pauses or stumbles, captions for people scrolling with the sound off, and framing that fits a phone screen.

Editing, not generating

Plenty of "AI UGC" tools generate a synthetic presenter reading a script. CutUGC does the opposite: the model only decides where to cut, crop and zoom, and ffmpeg carries that out on your recording. Every frame in the output is a frame you filmed.
