Opus Clip alternative

OpusClip vs CutUGC for talking-head UGC

OpusClip started as a way to turn long videos into short clips, and its AI Producer now edits single-speaker talking-head footage too, adding captions, B-roll, motion graphics and music. CutUGC does one narrower job: it turns a raw UGC recording session, retakes and all, into one clean short made only from what you filmed.

Where they overlap

Both edit your real footage rather than generating an avatar. Both cut filler words and dead air, add captions, reframe for vertical, and let you change what the AI decided.

Questions

Can CutUGC make multiple clips from one video?

Each cut produces one video. You can re-cut the same upload with a new brief or target length to get a different version, for example a 15 second and a 45 second cut.

Does CutUGC add B-roll or music?

No. The output contains only your footage and your audio, with captions, a hook and zooms on top. Add music afterwards in any editor if you want it.

How long can my upload be?

Up to fifteen minutes, which comfortably covers a UGC recording session with retakes.
